In an absolute debut on the island of Madeira, we present, perhaps, the most talked Portuguese band of the moment, we are talking about A garota não. She sings the intervention through a sweet reflection on the times we live in. A social, political journey, for those who fight with their hearts and give body, soul and voice to an absolutely unique project.
In 2022 she released “2 de Abril”, considered by the public and critics as one of the “Best National Albums of the Year”, and last year she won the Golden Globe for “Best Performer” in the Music category, in addition to the Award for “Best Work Popular” by the Portuguese Society of Authors.
This year, she was awarded the José da Ponte prize, by the Portuguese Society of Authors, as well as the José Afonso Prize in its 35th edition. Until the end of the year, A Garota Não will be creating new songs that will give rise to a long-awaited new album, the successor to “2 de Abril”.An unmissable concert by one of the most important musical projects of recent years in Portugal, making its absolute debut in the region.
